Audac WMI18 Wall Microphone Input Unit, 45x45 Standard

The WMI units are flush-mountable Wall Microphone Input units, designed for easy integration into various installation materials for system setups. They feature a female XLR input connector on the front and a terminal block connector on the rear. The audio signal received at the input is converted into a differential signal with enhanced voltage levels, making it immune to interference and noise. This allows the signal to be transmitted over long distances without any quality degradation. The signal can be reliably transferred up to 300 meters using CAT5e (or better) twisted-pair cabling.

A jumper on the rear allows for the enabling of 15V phantom power, which should be used in combination with a compatible device at the receiver end.
