Audac WMI18 Wall Microphone Input Unit (45x45 Standard)

The WMI18 is a flush-mountable Wall Microphone Input unit designed for seamless integration into various types of installation materials. It features a female XLR input connector on the front and a terminal block connector on the rear. The signal applied to the input is converted into a differential signal with increased voltage levels, making it resistant to interference and noise. This enables the signal to be transmitted over long distances without degradation, allowing for reliable signal transfer up to 300 meters using CAT5e (or better) twisted-pair cabling.

The rear of the unit includes a jumper that allows the enabling of 15V phantom power, which is useful for powering microphones requiring phantom power. This feature should be used in combination with a compatible receiver device.
