The BASO cabinets are versatile passive bass cabinets. Their design is constructed to be as compact as possible while achieving maximum performance in terms of sound quality and pressure. Their cabinets are made from robust high-quality plywood, and their elegant design fits into any environment.

The BASO18 is equipped with a high-performance 18” woofer—constructed with a woven lightweight carbon speaker cone that provides extraordinary strength, effectively “controlling” the sound to avoid distortion. This ensures high efficiency and excellent handling of sudden sound peaks (transient response). The BASO has a maximum power handling of 1800 watts, with an RMS value of 900 watts. The strength of this speaker comes from a 4" voice coil that can handle significant excursion. Displacements are expertly controlled by a dual low-loss suspension, providing super linear performance.

Carefully selected high-quality materials combined with precise acoustic craftsmanship result in an impressive combination of punch and extension in the low-frequency responses. This superb design yields a sensitivity of 96 dB with continuous sound pressure production of up to 129 dB. The frequency response ranges from 32 Hz to 300 Hz and can reach down to 30 Hz at -10 dB.

The BASO is equipped with carry handles and a 35 mm pole adapter, making transport and handling extra flexible. Connections are made using 2 SpeakON-compatible connectors, allowing for linking with other cabinets.
