The SYNCO Mic-D30, a professional, highly directional camera microphone, is designed to serve as an "audio engineer." It features an advanced microphone amplifier to boost audio signals while maintaining low self-noise. The D30 delivers transparent sound performance and offers a range of flexible functions. It works seamlessly with cameras, camcorders, smartphones, recorders, laptops, tablets, and bodypack transmitters.

Stepless Analog Gain Control
The Mic-D30 video shotgun mic includes a stepless analog gain knob that can be adjusted from -10dB to 15dB in a non-linear way. This feature controls both the microphone amplifier and the headphone amplifier simultaneously. Either input signals or output signals can be adjusted to the correct level for distortion-free audio.

Dual Soundtrack Protection
The overdrive protection system guards audio recording from distortion when reaching the maximum sound pressure level of 124 dB SPL. The safety channel ensures that sound remains intact at the peak SPL by attenuating at -10 dB to prevent audio clipping or loss.

Real-Time Audio Monitoring System
A 3.5mm TRS headphone output allows real-time monitoring of the incoming soundtrack. Paired with headphones under 55 Ohms impedance, this electric shotgun microphone enables efficient audio monitoring to conserve power.

Patented Type-C Interface
The camera-mounted Mic-D30 microphone is equipped with a Type-C interface that supports both analog and digital signal output. This Type-C interface preserves significantly more audio detail than the standard 3.5mm port, delivering high-quality sound to users.

75Hz / 150Hz Low-Cut Filter
With ultra-low-noise electronics, the Mic-D30 camera microphone produces minimal self-noise. A selectable 75Hz / 150Hz low-cut filter further cleans the sound by removing most low-frequency noise caused by air flow, vibrations, electrical currents, and traffic.

Acoustic Noise-Reducing Matrix
The ox-horn-like structure, called the Acoustic Noise Cancelling Array (ANCA), allows the D30 shotgun microphone to better process sound waves, reducing off-axis noise and focusing on capturing sound directly in front of the capsule. Paired with a supercardioid condenser and an interference tube, it produces clear, sharp, and natural audio output.
