A closed midsize headphone of the high-end top class. The "Edition 8 EX" shines with velvety highs, crisp mids and clearly defined bass. With its neutral tuning, it is suitable for both classical/jazz and rock/pop. The chrome-plated and PVD-coated ear cups with their dark ceramic inlays also give the Edition 8 EX a particularly elegant look.

ULTRASONE's patented S-LogicEX® technology, in which the drivers are not installed in the center of the ear cups but offset slightly downward, ensures an absolutely exceptional listening experience. As a result, the outer ear is addressed first, resulting in a spectacularly wide and natural-sounding stereo image - without the in-the-head localization typical of conventional headphones. This, in turn, allows fatigue-free listening even over extended periods of time.

The Edition 8 EX's ear and head pads are covered with the finest sheepskin leather, which not only ensures first-class wearing comfort, but also excellent external attenuation. In addition, ULTRASONE's special mu-metal shielding reduces electromagnetic radiation from the headphones to the ear by up to 98%.

The Edition 8 EX comes with two 4-core, detachable premium cables of varying lengths (1.2 m and 3 m) that attach to the left and right sides of the headphones with classy LEMO® connectors and have a gold-plated 3.5 mm jack plug on the other side. Also included are a gold-plated 6.35 mm jack adapter, a microfiber cleaning cloth and a high-quality aluminum case.
